Everton Fearon is a Toronto-based artist who has been creating since 2006. Everton's inherent need for creative expression led him to purchase an easel and canvas on a whim. This random purchase unlocked a passion that would change the way he interacts with the world forever. Everton was born in Jamaica in 1979 and came to Canada as a teenager. His use of vibrant colour, texture and pattern are deeply influenced by his Caribbean roots. A painter and sculptor, Everton's mixed media works are composed of discarded materials such as paper, wood, textiles, etc. combined with acrylic paint on canvas. His work is featured in the Perimeter Project.
